Shreve & Co. sterling silver tea and coffee set, in the Dolores pattern, from the early 20th century in Art Deco / Arts & Crafts style, all beautifully hammered, with an elegant, geometric design, consisting of:
- a hot water kettle on stand, measuring 13 3/8'' in total weight (height of the kettle 11 1/2'') by 8 7/8'' from handle to spout
- a coffee pot measuring 10 2/3'' in height by 8 7/8'' from handle to spout
- a teapot measuring 9 3/4'' in height by 9 1/4'' from handle to spout
- a large creamer measuring 6 1/4'' in height by 4 5/8'' from handle to spout
- a smaller creamer measuring 5 1/2'' in height by 4 1/8'' from handle to spout
- a covered, two-handled sugar bowl measuring 7 3/8'' in height with the lid (5 1/4'' without) by 6'' from handle to handle
- an open, two-handled sugar bowl measuring 4 1/2'' in height by 5 1/8'' from handle to handle
- a waste bowl measuring 4 3/8'' in height by 3 3/4'' in diameter
Total weight is an impressive 116.9 troy ounces. Each piece bears hallmarks and an original H monogram in Arts & Crafts style with strapping.
