Victorian English gilded silverplate spoon warmer, fashioned in the shape of a nautilus shell, with hinged lid chased in curlicue, dotted and foliate pattern. The attached gilt metal base is designed to represent rocks, culminating in a shell and leaf finial. Bearing marks as shown, the piece measures 5 1/2" high x 6" long x 3 1/4" wide.
